Career Staff

With the July 19, 2023 passing of our Fire Protection & Emergency Services Ballot Measure, the West Plainfield Fire Protection Distrcit was able to recruit and hire 3 additional permanent personnel to bring our daily minimum staffing to 2 Fire Suppression/EMT's per day. Personnel work a 48/96 rotating schedule. Career Staff is augmented with qualified part time operators & part time firefighters to when the need arises to cover vacations, sick calls, and incident mitigation.
